About Seele MusicALE

Seele Musicale Chamber Ensemble is a guild of passionate musicians who play for the joy of performing with an emphasis on the nuances and emotions in the music performed. With their performances, these musicians seek to connect the yearning ears of today’s audience with the infinite magic found in the creations of both present and past composers.

Individually, they are music teachers and directors, software engineers, writers and students but above all they unite their musical spirits, distilling the wonderment of music wherever they perform.

The group was founded five years ago, and initially focused on the Baroque era with works of Bach, Handel, Pergolesi and Vivaldi. They have since widened their repertoire to showcase music of contemporary composers such as Alan Hovhaness, Osvaldo Golijov, Frederic Sharaf, R.A. Moulds, and David Stern.

Earlier this year they presented their acclaimed program “Flights of Fancy” for the Worcester Art Museum’s “Flora in Winter” exhibition, featuring picturesque music of Handel and Telemann.

They continue to charm audiences at venues in and around central and eastern Massachusetts.
